| On July 6th 2005 Stourport Civic Society officially launched its project: "Unlocking Stourport's Past".
More than 130 local people and representatives of national organisations attended a presentation at Stourport Civic Centre where the aims of the Project were explained and there was a display of information researched by the Project Team. Whilst looking at the displays and exhibits the attendees were able to enjoy light refreshments of locally-made cheeses (from Malvern) and wine from Astley vineyard. Further exhibitions will be organised as the Project develops. |
