The Lucy Balwin Maternity Hospital, which has been erected at Stourport, is the gift of Mr Julien Cahn, Linby, near Nottingham. It is to be opened by the Prime Minister on Tuesday. The scheme consists of a main building, providing two private wards and a main ward of eight beds, an isolation block (seen in the foreground), and mortuary. The Institution is of considerable value in the practical solution of one of the problems of public health.
